Youth Entrepreneurship Support and Development Center (YESDC) Minsk, Belarus:
Goals: Provide computers and training for local youths. Support training and counseling in health awareness. Promote inter-regional connections between participating youths and other areas of Belarus.
The YESDC is organizing this project with the support of the Minsk Palace of Children and Youth and UNICEF Belarus. They will establish an ILC for Minsk youths and provide the training and access necessary to build employment, health, and life skills.

Schools Online
Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Russia
Funding Amount: $39,920
Goals: Maximize the effectiveness of teachers and students in acquiring and using ICT equipment and skills.
The Eastern Europe Professional Development Pilot Program is developing regional teams of Master Trainers for Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Russia. Three or four education professionals per country are participating in 2 Master Trainer workshops and in the production of regional training curricula for these 3 countries. After the workshops, the teams are returning home to develop ICT training programs that are linguistically and culturally adapted for each country. After completing the Pilot project, the Master Trainer teams are conducting training workshops for teachers in 2002 and 2003 as part of the Eastern Europe program for Schools Online. These workshops will provide professional development for Schools Online program participants and others interested in the issues of integrating ICT into the classroom.
