 
Computers arrived at the Kasulu Teacher Training College (KTTC) in early 2002. KTTC has developed and implemented plans for financial sustainability for their internet center, including a wide variety of income-generating activities.
 
 
 
Part of the sustainability plan includes a reliable and affordable energy supply. A biogas system was built in late 2001 to augment generator-supplied electricity for the internet center. The biogas system will also provide fertilizer for the crops the college raises to feed its staff and students.
